Contributions YOU can make to CEGUI!
Not everyone needs to be an experienced developer or CEGUI-expert to make contributions to CEGUI: In fact, there are many smaller things, each of which are easy and would only take a short time, that we would love your help with! On this wiki page we have collected a list of items you can help us wi...

Re: Wishlist for user contributions to docs and tutorials
This is a great idea, I am only wondering where is the best place for such a list, whether in a wiki article or in a stickied forum thread. ... Perhaps making a wiki article with a list of these smaller 30-60 minutes tasks and categorising them would be the way to go? I think so too: a wiki page wi...

Wishlist for user contributions to docs and tutorials
After reading this thread I wanted to make something constructive come out of it. As I see it there (1) are numerous users that would like to contribute something back to CEGUI. (2) There are many who need more or better tutorials and examples. And (3) there are many who don't know what or how to co...

Re: MMiX.Me 3D Music Player
Sweet CEGUI adaptation of the LInux KDE theme "KORE"! If you could make it available it would be a great asset for CEGUI development as well as the right thing to do, since KORE is under the GPL licence.

Re: YAML
I do not think this would be hard per se, however extending CEGUI to support a different markup-language may require some refactoring as it seems to be somewhat coupled to XML. I think you could write a custom XMLParser that does YAML, but I am not sure if the XMLHandler interface it uses translate...

The OP is asking about how to make an area of the window translucent. The first picture is how he wants it to look with the background slightly visible behind the character. The second picture is what he has at the moment with an opaque frame instead.

Re: Falagard with Slider and Combobox
It this behaviour is still present in 0.7.x it might be worthwhile to open a bug ticket in the tracker. I understand that is the fastest way to get the team to get on a problem.

Re: 0.5 != 0.5000000000 ??? why ??
hello again!! and you know that in math 0.5 == 0.50000000000000 ( even how zero that i have ) Unfortunately, for computer floating points this is not true. Basically, you never compare floats or doubles for equality (with ==), that will result in bugs, always compare the difference of two floats ag...

1) More users and more discussion are always better.
2) It doesn't cost to try.
Give it a shot, and if you want an announcement send it to me and I will provide a translation by a native Chinese speaker.

Re: Odd return value getHorizontalScrollPosition
This might be a FF issue: I tried in Opera and it worked. Note that user names in Mantis seems to be case-sensitive. Since my FF (4.0.1) auto-downcases my user name in spite of what I do this is probably the reason for the problem. It might be unique to me, but if others experience this too perhaps ...

Re: Odd return value getHorizontalScrollPosition
Sorry, tried this ten times now with my forum name and password. Simply doesn't work, I get the "Username might be blocked or bad password" error. Don't know if this is relevant but the mantis login keeps downcasing my username, and after a login attempt it also changes the number of glyph...
