Thanks for your efforts CE. I'll give that a shot a little later today and see what I come back with. I think my original hypothesis of a binary/library/compilation anomaly is correct - so I'll see if I can figure out anything else to try in that regard.

Re: Aspect Ratio
Thanks for your work. I tried to test your Button. I renamed everything to fit with my definitons, added it the scheme file and changed to the correct imageset and added one instance in the layout file in the middle of the screen just to see it. It runs fine, BUT: The button simply is not displayed...

Re: Aspect Ratio
Here's approximately what I think you're looking for. You'll need to change the imageset/image names to match your button frame images, but the icon aligns left and scales as discussed. This was a good learning experience for me, so the challenge is appreciated! <!-- ********************************...

Re: Aspect Ratio
Also, it occurs to me that in your looknfeel you could most likely get the widget's native height (meaning the height that you would set by any other means) and then set the width/height of your icon to something slightly below that. This would avoid unnecessarily creating a property for something t...

Re: Aspect Ratio
As mentioned, the code I provided is for an ItemEntry and not for a Button, but it'll probably help with the questions you have when you go into your looknfeel and convert the Button entry that is there. As for classes and inheritance, the answer is "kinda". In this case, this widget was a...

Re: Aspect Ratio
I think I understand what you're trying to do. You'll probably want to create a new IconButton (that name may be taken) widget in your looknfeel. You can then give it a property "IconSize" which you can assign to the height of the button and the width and height of the icon alike (each mod...

Re: Aspect Ratio
I'm relatively certain that what you're asking for cannot be achieved by layout alone. You can keep the ratio static by keeping the dimensions static (eg. not using the scale variable, only using the offset) but it doesn't sound like that's what you're looking for. But if the ratio is 1:1, isn't it ...

Re: Aspect Ratio
Hmm.. I'll see if I can work up something like this in my project and pass on the code. You're going to need to script the "Sized" event a little bit, and most likely have a container window which provides the maximum dimensions for you (and on which you are checking the sizing), and then ...

Re: First Custom Window Class.. strange crash?
Edit: Here's the informative version. I removed some text in order to get it to post, the point at which this fails is a few clicks in and I repopulate a few listboxes in the meantime, which adds up to alot of spam. This cuts some of that out, shouldn't be anything important missing. 01/03/2011 10:3...

Re: Editing an MMO's interface? (HELP!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~)
[Important] ---- Scripting module is: None ---- That's unfortunate. That pretty much means that skinning and rearranging widgets is all you're going to be able to do. No World-of-Warcraft-style user tools for you. Pay attention to the "name" attribute in the layout files. Most likely, thi...

First Custom Window Class.. strange crash?
Hey all, So I've been putting off writing my own custom window classes for over a year now and finally, when pressed for an actual checkboxitem widget, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to finally try out this process. In general, I've been able to get by just adding children or autowindows t...

Re: Upgrading to .7.2 from .6.2b issue
Thanks Kulik. No good reason for moving to .7.2 instead of .7.5. I think .7.2 is what comes with the latest Delta3d and the team lead, who does the builds for the team, just used that. I think it's a matter of simplicity since the combination of upgrading to major releases of Delta3d, osg, osgEarth,...

Upgrading to .7.2 from .6.2b issue
Hello all, Hopefully this is a quick question. I'm sure I can find a workaround for this, but as the method is seemingly missing i figured I'd ask here if there was a "right way" to resolve this issue. There used to be an overloaded WindowManager::loadWindowLayout as such: Window* WindowMa...

MultiColumnListBox vs ItemListbox
Hello, I am in the process of converting one of my listboxes to a multicolumn listbox. My problem is that I am trying to be very diligent to keep all stylization/event subscription code out of the c++. However, because I am adding itemEntries to the listbox (and now ListboxTextItems to the MultiColu...
