logging on

can we have a place to log on conveniently located some in the forum pages of the website?
unless there's a better way to log on that i dont know of, i always start out in the forum,
then go back to the main page,
then log on there,
then navigate back into the right post in the right forum,
====>it gets ugly when the internet is slow.
i just thought that would make user life a bt easier.
