Problems with CEGUI and ogre from the ogre PPA

I hope I'm positing this to the right place, but CE ask me to post my results to the forum after trying for about an hour to help me resolve this issue. When I built CEGUI against the ogre in the ogre ppa on my ubuntu lucid system, cegui demos would hang. after upgrading to Mavrick, and building against the included ogre distribution, everything seems to work fine.

Thanks for updating on the situation I'm glad you managed to resolve it after updating. This saves me from needing to test it myself, and also means I have some clue as to what to advise if this come up again
