API Documentation

Postby davesh » Mon Feb 06, 2006 23:53

Is it just me or is it very tough to find any reference to the software API documentation on the home page.

I browse to http://www.cegui.org.uk and am automatically redirected to http://www.cegui.org.uk/modules/news/

I don't see any reference on this page to the body of documentation (including tutorials) that relate to cegui.

The other day i found my way to documentation and tutorials by following a link provided with a comment within the forums.

Is there any link to the full body of documentation for developers on the home page?

Thanks in advance.

The current hosting solution has proven pretty... bad.

There used to be a link to the API reference on the news site.

CE is currently working on a new setup for the site, back at sourceforge hosting.
It should happen over the next few weeks, meanwhile there's bound to be some problems.

Thanks will look forward to the new interface...

In the meantime since I am keen to start using the software could you please post a link (or links) to the place that folks should be browsing for documentation/tutorials?

Thanks again in advance.

Oh duh.. I see you actually embedded the link in your response.. The highlighted color of the link was almost the same as the color of the surrounding text... it escaped me the first two reads.

This documentation is a good starting point...
Could you please also point me to your favorite tutorial page(s)?
