help! CEGUI and .MINGW - .A files

Hello cegui.co.uk

I have big trouble getting mingw working with cegui.

Does anyone know if its possible to get cegui running on windows with mingw and does anyone have the .a files working?

I'm just curious if there is any hope or i am wasting my time with cegui+mingw combination.

It's possible, but it wont work out of the box.

sounds like more trouble than converting to msvc c++ express ... correct? We are not linking/toolchain experts, but just simple c++ wannabes, so we just want to know were the trouble is and avoid it.
