Sorry guys but I can't seem to find sources for the advanced string rendering anywhere. Would you care to help me ?

The class that handles this is called RenderedString. This is shipped with CEGUI 0.7+ with some minor alterations in the upcoming CEGUI 1.0

You can just use the formatting in a "Text" property in StaticText and it will work, no extra code needed.
