I've been using CEGUI for a bit, I think most recently a mk2 version with the older .14x ogre code, and just upgraded to the Ogre SDK which has CEGUI dependancies built in.
When I was using the mk2, I built a unqiue look and feel based on the Taharez set, and the DLL is not up to date anymore with the new code.
What I want to do, is to install CEGUI again and update or rebuild my widget set and then drop that DLL and supporting files into my other Ogre project.
My main concern is I want the code versions to match so I need to make sure the DLL produced by the install of CEGUI is basically the same as the ones expected by the CEGUI version in Ogre's SDK.
Which should I download for this purpose?
TIA

Re: Which source to use for Ogre SDK
Any of the newer versions of CEGUI (0.2.x branch or HEAD branch) will work with Ogre 1.0.0, though as always there are numerous things to consider.
If you do not want to recompile the Ogre GUI renderer at all, then you're basically limited to 0.2.0 release of CEGUI; which is what you have in the OgreSDK anyway.
You could possibly get away with using any code from the 0.2.x branch, though a recent bug-fix in String would ideally require a recompile of the Ogre GUI renderer module to be safe (it might work without, it might not).

Re: Which source to use for Ogre SDK
0.2.0 did the trick nicely, and with only a few code changes everything converted over great.
Thanks again
