Compilation error (deps?)

For help with anything that CEGUI doesn't offer straight out-of-the-box, e.g.:
- Implementation of new features, such as new Core classes, widgets, WindowRenderers, etc. ...
- Modification of any existing features for specific purposes
- Integration of CEGUI in new engines or frameworks and writing of new plugins (Renderer, Parser, ...) or modules

Compilation error (deps?)

Postby Nocs » Tue Aug 23, 2005 09:45

Hello, i was trying to compile cegui CVS version with the latest (0.2.0) dependencies from the download section but there are some compilation errors. Are the deps not up to date, and what is this ft2build.h file? I am using vc7.1, winxp.

------ Build started: Project: CEGUIBase, Configuration: Release Win32 ------

Compiling...
CEGUIWin32XMLSelectHack.cpp
..\..\..\..\include\CEGUIXercesParser.h(30) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'xercesc/framework/MemBufInputSource.hpp': No such file or directory
CEGUISystem.cpp
..\..\..\..\include\CEGUIXercesParser.h(30) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'xercesc/framework/MemBufInputSource.hpp': No such file or directory
CEGUIFontManager.cpp
..\..\..\..\include\CEGUIFontManager_implData.h(30) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'ft2build.h': No such file or directory
CEGUIFont_xmlHandler.cpp
\CVS_SDK\cegui_mk2\src\CEGUIFont_xmlHandler.cpp(33) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'ft2build.h': No such file or directory

You need to download two dependency packages, the 'common' files package (which contains the headers that you're missing), and the libs package for your compiler (which I guess is the one you already downlaoded).
