I have been trying to compile either imageset editor (the one Tuan has on his site, and the CrazySkinEdietor) and am having no luck with either. An artist shouldnt have to compile his own . Does anyone have a precompiled version of either of those. I think either would help me so I dont have to hand edit the whole imageset again (I am tired).
Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Can someone post a binary of either imageset editor?

Hi Jerky,
do you know that the imageset editor is now in our hands? You can read the announcement here: http://www.cegui.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopi ... set+editor
As you can read in that post, you need to be a little patient when you are using VS.
HTH!

Yes, I had noticed that already, but at the time of my post lindquist hadnt posted a VC version. I also was assuming that these would be ready to roll, since I dont think we are using 0.5.0 yet. They are both older, but it is hard to believe that there is no binary for either.
I can be patient if I need to (my project is 1.5 yrs old already), I am just anxious to ditch Taharez (no offense intended, I just think things would look much better with a customized one).

Yeah, I noticed. I will just be patient. I was not able to find any build documentation on either, and neither seem up-to-date, which I wasnt expecting them to be (cause I can read ). We are still deciding whether to upgrade to 0.5.0 just yet, so no rush. I am just personally anxious to make a new skin for our app, and am not too excited about redoing any layout or imagesets. Its not that I cant, it will just take me a long time to do so, and I would rather make content at the moment.
Thanks for the info.

Uh, guys... The link was in the thread , and I didnt need to try compiling Tuan's since Martignasse implemented the code of Tuan's into his. That was exactly what I was looking for, I just needed to read the whole thread, rather than just skim it. I am well on my way to making our first GUI. I hope the imageset editor you are working on for 0.5.0 is just as good, if not better .
I did find that when saving with Martignasse's, it adds 2 lines (inconsistently, as sometimes its just 1) that are XML formatted, but do nothing but break it. 1 for something called image and another called root. All I do is each time I save, I open the xml up in an editor and remove those two lines. I can definitely handle that, especially when the alternative was calculating the coordinates and xml by hand.
Hopefully, for anyone not yet using 0.5.0 and wanting an imageset editor, they will see this and find it with less trouble than me (although I can't believe I missed it).
