The word-wrap code could use a couple of improvements
Auto-repeat for backspace would work if Ogre produced the events for this, since it doesn't, there is to auto-repeat. CEGui does not collect the inputs, it just deals with the ones it is given.
With regards to the FPS you metnion in the screenshot, release mode should get you better rates, though there is definately room for optimisation within the system. Having said this, any gui layout that is text heavy will definately pay a performance price. Once beta 1 is out the way, the renderers will likely get an overhaul, so that in itself will likely bring the frame rates up a bit.
