Windows Look Button setText - text missing

Howdy,

Ive recently upgraded my CEGUI CVS version to HEAD. Everything's looking great, except for one strange thing. None of my buttons are showing any text - they did before the upgrade. Im using the WindowsLook scheme.

Anybody seeing the same thing? Anything changed with regard to the WindowsLook/Button at all recently?

On a related note, I saw the new method to align the text on a button on the x-axis. This is fairly new right? I'll take a look into that, might see something. Also I'm using a non-standard font (i.e. not one that comes with the samples) so these might be adding up to produce the problemo.

This was missing alpha components on the constant default colours for the button texts. I've added alpha components to all the constant colours now. It's in CVS, but if you're impatient to wait for the sync, see the attached patch

You mean the x offset thing? That's old and I'd prefer it if I could remove it, lol. Falagard rules!

It is? Oops not noticed that method before . Yeah, Im sure Falagard will give me everything Ive been longing for, and more , Im very tempted to try it out and hopefully will do soon.

Switching to Falagard will be pretty simple if you're currently using one of the provided 'look' modules. Basically, for example, you just switch from using "TaharezLook.scheme" to "TaharezLookSkin.scheme" and you'll then be running Falagard - we're still tweaking things at the moment, so while it's "mostly done" there are still changes being made where we see weakness

Sorry for delay in replying, I got the latest from CVS HEAD and thats fixed it, all looking good now thanks

I spent a short while trying to switch to the new Falagard, but with no luck just yet. Kept getting a few errors, nothing big, they are no doubt to do with my not moving across all the correct files. I'll try again soon though, and let you know it goes.
